The second instalment in our Grounded series, a series dedicated to great stories during a global pandemic. This time we take you into the world of track cycling, something that's very dear to us, to explore an incredible story of determination, hard work, humility, heartache and triumph as we follow Ella Sibley from junior track cyclist, to World Champion and beyond. You don't have to be a cycling tragic for this one to hit home. So much of this message is reflected in other aspects of our lives.

I've been meaning to do this for a few years now. To make a video about something I love, that I know a bit about, but am also constantly learning more about... a video about me. The part I found hard in this little piece, was the fact that there were so many shots I wished I could go back and re-shoot - shoot them better, slower, faster, better framed, more or less exposed. But I cant. But what was maybe the most inspiring part of this process, was recognising that whilst the cameras changed over the last 10 years, the technology got more, well, technical, one thing was constant... I have been chasing the same thing the entire time. So working with crusty old footage shot on my first DSLR was, in some ways, just as easy as working with shots from the newest, most high tech gear I use everyday now. Have I got it right yet? Nope. Will I keep chasing it? Yep.

Three wakeboarders, planning on competing internationally in 2020, find themselves grounded at home in Australia for the season. Cooper Armstrong, a former Junior World Champion, Hamish O’Callaghan, chasing his international debut, and Parker Siegele, a World Top 10 rider facing his first winter in a decade. These guys join us to show off their home spot in this short documentary that looks behind the scenes of professional wakeboarders. Each with a unique approach to their sport, and a different outlook on what a world with COVID-19 means to them.
